School Phonics - A New Approach to Learning English
When it comes to learning English as a foreign language, there are really only two options. Students either learn English by rote (memorizing things), or they’re forced to watch English-only films or listen to music. This approach is certainly effective but doesn’t help with reading and writing.
In the School Phonics series, we’ve introduced the idea of sound with flashcards featuring sound files of words. This approach enables students to visualize the pronunciation, helping them remember words more quickly and accurately. We also incorporated a fun sound game to help students get a sense of the sound and rhythm of a word.
If that’s not enough, we’ve incorporated story animations to help students better visualize and learn the content. After each unit story, we’ve included a word quiz for students to test their knowledge of a word in a game format.
And what about word games? We’ve included a word game with an emphasis on spelling and vocabulary, which provides students with more practice.
